Erin Tallardy Katz joined the firm of Garofalo Goerlich Hainbach PC (GGH) in 2004 and became a shareholder in 2015. She specializes in international aviation, regulatory and contractual matters. Erin has assisted many non-U.S. carriers in obtaining the necessary authority to operate to the United States on a commercial basis, including authority from the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, Customs and Border Protection and the Transportation Security Administration.
Prior to joining GGH, Erin worked at US Airways for over three years, concentrating on international pricing and product development associated with the delivery of new Airbus aircraft. She also interned at the U.S. Department of State, Office of Aviation Policy and served as a law clerk at Vuono & Gray, LLC, a Pittsburgh law firm specializing in transportation law.
Erin earned a B.A. in German with a minor in mathematics from Wake Forest University in 1996. She also received an LL.M. in International and European Legal Studies from the University of Reading, England in 2002 and earned a J.D. and a Certificate in International and Comparative Law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003. She is admitted to the Bars of the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland.
